Shortcake and her sister Strawberry (now adopted) are playful, affectionate girls born to Gretchen, who was dumped on a farm in rural Missouri. Her former caretakers and foster home prepared her to be a great pet by exposing her to kids, dogs, and other cats. Don't be fooled by her size, Shortcake has a big personality. She doesn't mind other cats and dogs as long as they know who's really in charge! As for humans, she can't get enough cuddles and she's not afraid to ask for them.

This cat is currently at the 75th & Metcalf Petco store. To meet her out of the cage, please make an appointment with the contact person listed above.

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, FeLV/FIV Combo test, flea prevention and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats we cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 2-7 pounds, Med 8-13 pounds, Large 14-19 pounds, Extra Large over 20 pounds.
