Hi, there! My name's Shimp, and I'm a bubbly little gal. I am great with commands and already know how to sit and wait for my food dish until I'm told to eat. I'm currently being potty and crate trained, and I am learning quickly. I'm good with other dogs and am cat-curious (I'm too scared to get too close!). I'm a very sweet girl, and I love to have my tummy and ears rubbed. In fact, I usually grunt and close my eyes because it feels so good! I don't bark much, and I like to squeeze as many puppy naps in as possible between potty breaks. Because I'm still pretty curious, my foster parents keep plenty of toys on-hand for me to play with. I can't wait to see what kinds of toys my forever family has for me!

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a
two week trial

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
