Sparky was found in the wall of a house when he was four or five weeks old by some friendly firefighters who immediately called one of the TARA volunteers so he wouldn't be turned over to the local shelter. He was named Sparky in their honor. Sparky is a very active kitten who loves to play with the big cats at his foster family's home. Because he was weaned so early he is very cuddly when he is not in playing mode. He loves to sit on the shoulder of his foster mom and "help" her read.

He would be a good fit for a home with friendly older cats but has so much energy he would do particularly well with a kitten his own age to play with.

This cat can be seen at the 95th & Quivira Petco store. To meet him out of the cage, please make an appointment with the contact person listed above.

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, FeLV/FIV Combo test, flea prevention and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats we cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 2-7 pounds, Med 8-13 pounds, Large 14-19 pounds, Extra Large over 20 pounds.
