Sylvee was left behind when her family lost their home to foreclosure.  Unaltered and roaming the streets in her neighborhood, she ended up with 10 puppies by the time we got her.  The puppies are all weaned (and available for adoption) and she is ready to start her new life in a loving home where she will never face abandonment again.  Given her history, she is a little unsure of new people, especially men, but she is living in a foster home where she is learning to trust again!  She gets along with other dogs and would do well in a home with another dog that is outgoing and social with people who can help her realize that we're not all bad!

She is quiet and calm in the house although she does like to roam all over and follow her fosters wherever they go.   She enjoys chew toys, pieces of cardboard, old rolled up socks and pieces of rawhide.  It is a good idea to keep shoes out of her reach.  She doesn’t dig in the yard and rarely barks except when playing.

She is working on house training and is responding very well.  She is also working on leash training and is learning that as well.

She is very interested in cats, but has not been aggressive with them.  She really just wants to smell them.

Sylvee is an absolute sweetheart who just loves to be petted and rubbed on!  Won't you make this pretty girl a part of your family?
