Salina has been with us since she was a tiny, 3-4 week old puppy.  She was found with her momma and 8 other siblings living behind a retaining wall in a neighborhood in northeast Kansas City.  Her momma had been abandoned in the neighborhood when her family moved and left her to fend for herself!  Believe it or not, Salina’s mom is Sylvee, who is also available for adoption through www.tarasdream.org.  You would never know these two are related just by looking at them!  Salina obviously took after her father’s side of the family!

Salina is a great “teenage” pup now.  She has been living in foster for her entire life and has already learned many of her basic manners!  She is completely crate trained, even going to her crate on her own when she is ready for bed!  She gets along with other dogs and cats!  She’s great with all people, but a little shy at first.  She also knows how to sit and lay down on command.

Salina would be best suited for a more relaxed, quiet home without a lot of commotion!  Once she has warmed up to her new family members, she will want endless love and affection and long snuggles on the couch!

Approximate Birthdate:  04/13/2013

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
