Roger is a sweet, gentle boy with beautiful rich tones of black and rust fur with a dabble of white on his chest. Try not petting his plush fur  while sitting on the couch; it’s impossible! He is getting along great with his foster dog sisters and human. He is a people person and is most happy when everyone in the house is together. He may be very good at playing hide-n-seek because he will come find me if I'm not in the room! He is a dainty eater with very good manners. Roger is a happy, tail wagging,  romping in the yard, kissy, lovey kind of dog.  He is crated up to 4 hours at a time during the workday and at night. In the short time he has been in foster he has picked up on routines, has had no accidents and willingly kennels when a treat is placed inside. He talks more than he barks (barks are saved for squirrels and joining in when the foster sibs bark first). When he talks to you in his Chewbacca voice, it will melt your heart with laughter and thankfulness that you were lucky enough to pick Roger to join your family. A true sweetheart.

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
