Hi, I'm Alfie, it's nice to meet you! I have had quite the journey, even since Jade's Mission started helping me back in May. I was a stray and I found this house that two other dogs lived at, that were chained up in the backyard. So I started hanging around because I knew there would always be food and water for me. The owner of the two dogs decided that I could stay. Jade's Mission volunteers always brought all three of us dogs lot of food, treats, and relief from the flies and fleas. Then one day the owner of the house moved out, let both the other dogs off the chain and we never saw him again. There we were left to defend for ourselves. By the time Jade's Mission outreach volunteers came back to check on all of us the two black dogs had run off and I was off on another journey. Two months later the same volunteers were driving down a street 30 blocks away from my old home and saw me in a wire crate on someone's porch. They stopped and asked the woman if that's where I lived and if she wanted me. One volunteer took one look at me and asked the woman where she got me. She told them she picked me up after her friend's neighbor moved out and left all his dogs! They volunteers had found me again! This time they made sure they were going to find me the best home! I am now in foster care waiting for the day I get to finally have a home of my own forever. I am neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and ready to go!
