This little guy was abandoned at the shelter by his owner because she was moving.  He came into the shelter in pretty rough shape, hair overgrown and matted, covered in fleas, and thin.  He has since been cleaned up and fully vetted and moved into a loving foster home where he is getting all of the care that he needs and deserves!  He is a very sweet boy who loves to be with his people.  He is house trained, and loves to play with other small to medium size dogs.  We are recommending that he not be placed into a home with children under the age of 12 as he is very small and has suffered some neglect in his life.  He needs a more quiet, stable home where he can build his confidence and trust.

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
