About Dalton *CL*

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Current Age: 12 Years 6 Months (best estimate)

Hi, my name is Dalton! I am only about 3 months old, but man have I been through a lot! I was hit by a car when my first family didn't take care of me and left me outside to fend for myself. They couldn't afford to take me to the vet so they called the nice volunteers at Jade's Mission. They said I was very lucky because I didn't have a broken bone in my body, but I did suffer a serious de-gloving injury on my front right leg. I have had to have bandage changes every day for the past three weeks, it's been a long process, but I have learned to be a very patient boy! They say my leg is really starting to heal and I should be back to normal in no time. So in the mean time, while I'm healing, I am ready to start looking for my forever home. I am very easy going and pretty quiet. I am house and crate trained. I like to play with other dogs too! I am vaccinated, but I have to wait for my leg to heal before I can be neutered. I am also on heart worm and flea preventative. If you would like to meet me, please contact Jade's Mission at jadesmission@yahoo.com or call at 816-737-8574! My adoption fee is $150.
