About Jill *CL*

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Black with White
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

"Jill" was found hanging around trash containers used by crew who were cleaning out a condemned housing area. The crew searched their cars for a snack for "Jill" and offered her some beef jerkey and gatorade. One of the crew men got home that day and shared Jill's condition with his wife. His wife insisted that they go right back to find Jill and get her to safety, so that's just what they did. Jill was extremely dehydrated and very hungry. She was so covered in dirt, that it was difficult to tell what color she was! Jill was more than happy to get in the car, hoping that finally someone would show her some kindness and compassion. It had been so long....and the heat was so bad....

Jill is now in foster care and is so seemingly thankful that someone has finally shown her love. She loves to play, in fact, she could play all day! And when she rests, she totally collapses. She likes tug of war and fetch and playing with her dog friend, Jack. She's house trained and loves her crate. She goes right in willingly and loves to be in her special spot with lots of comfy blankets. We believe Jill could be great in a home as the only pet or with another dog, as long as she was properly introduced to another resident dog. Jill is also very good with the 3 young children in her foster home. Though she does have lots of energy and wants the kids to play, play, play! We do not know how Jill is with cats, but can cat test if needed.

Jill is heartworm negative and has recently been spayed. She has been updated on all her vaccinations, and is now a healthy 50 lbs. Her coat is a beautiful white color with black spots. The vet estimates Jill to be 10-18 months old, thus the lively young energy and happy-go-lucky personality! Jill would make an excellent jogging partner and would do best in a home with a fenced-in back yard. Any questions? Please contact us if you are interested in sweet Jill.
