This dog is such a charmer! McKinley just wants to be loved. He can’t stand to be away from his human pack leader. In other words, he adores attention.
After proper introduction, McKinley gets along well with other dogs. McKinley is remarkable loyal. He is well behaved on a leash even when approached by unknown people and other dogs. He is a very smart dog who responds quickly to praise and treats. Negative reinforcement is not the form of discipline for this sensitive soul. He is crate trained and always uses polite house manners.
McKinley is best not left unsupervised; he needs an owner with lots of time to give him. He becomes anxious if not around his leader for long periods of time. He would love a big fenced in back yard to romp in. McKinley keeps his favorite ball in his food bowl while he eats so as not to have it disappear or get lost! He is being put up for adoption ONLY because his current owner works multiple jobs with long hours and cannot be there enough for him.
Because this is a courtesy listing, the owner is waiving adoption fess with one requirement--he attends obedience training for socialization.
