Little Sara was found when she was only about 4 months old but she had had quite a rough life already. She was living in a drainage ditch under the highway trying her best to survive even though she was just a baby and must have been terrified being all alone in such a scary place.
Luckily, a good Samaratin spotted her one day and began feeding her and trying to win her trust. Unable to catch Sara, her guardian angel contacted us and we were able to trap this little girl and bring her to safety. We're not sure how Sara ended up where she did, but we don't think she had very good interactions with humans in the past. Sara is extremely shy but is slowly learning that not all people are bad. She will need a very patient and loving home to prove this to her. She is over a year old now and is in a foster home and doing very well, she is house-trained and very well mannered. She must have another dog in the home as she adores them and having a canine brother or sister will be imperative in helping her learn how to interact with her humans.
