Hobo (aka Hobie) is a 5 year old Shepherd/Husky mix.  Up until April he had lived with a family his entire life but his family up and moved out on him.  They took their other dog but didn’t want him.  He was still living outside on a chain at the vacant house and was going to be dumped on the side of the road had he not been rescued!

 Hobo is very smart, loving, calm, and great with other animals!  He’s also great with kids.  He’s currently in boarding and loves playing in doggie daycare.  He would be a fabulous family dog because he loves his people.  Hobo deserves a family to show him that he’s loved and will never be abandoned again!

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
