Hello there. My name is Sir Reginald Philip Wembley Fitzwilliam Windsor III, but my friends just call me Windsor. I’m casual like that.

My hobbies include watching Downton Abbey, sipping tea with crumpets, and playing polo. Unfortunately it’s nearly impossible to find a fine polo horse in this area, so I have to satisfy myself with retrieving tennis balls. I love, love, love to play ball! I can catch it in the air, without even a bounce, and I always bring it right back and politely drop it at your feet so you can throw it again and again. 

I get along fine with other dogs, even large, brutish commoners without aristocratic backgrounds like mine. I am very leery of small children, however, because in my previous house I was picked up a lot and manhandled, and I finally had to teach them that that’s no way to treat royalty. And for that, I ended up in the clink, where to my dismay I found out I have heartworms, because my former owners didn’t keep me current on heartworm preventive.

But I have put that disgraceful past behind me. I am undergoing heartworm treatment and am looking for a new civilized home with caring adults and well-behaved, gentle older kids who would love me and play with me, and, let’s face it, who deserve a handsome chap like me. Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
