One of our volunteers witnessed Honeycomb being hit by a car on a busy local street.  Luckily, she survived the hit and run, but she did have severe and extensive injuries.  Thanks to the vets at the MU Vet hospital, we were able to repair her broken pelvis and leg and give her a fresh start in life!  Honeycomb is very sweet with those she knows and loves, though she is leery of new people.  She is excellent in a crate and is learning house manners during her recovery!  She likes to play with toys and chew on her bones.  Once this girl's recovery is complete, she will be ready for her forever family.

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
