Chappy was found while he was being chased out of convenience store at 59th and Troost. He has had his firsts of many at his foster home...his first trip to McDonalds...his first bath...his first new collar just for him...his new blue blankey, and his very own Giant 70lb American Bulldog foster brother, Little Foot, AKA the big thing he follows around with this awesome rope toy attached to his backside...otherwise known as Little Foots Tail which the puppy loves to play with! He is getting tossed around a little bit by my Little Foot who is a Giant but he’s got fire in his heart and he’s learning the ropes quite well! He eats and drinks a healthy amount and has learned to scratch at his door when he needs to potty! He is highly food motivated but still eats without chewing his food which I am hoping will stop as soon as he realizes he will never have to dumpster dive for dinner again. His potty training is going well and he has been staying in my bathroom and already knows how to use the puppy pads while I am at work. He is not destructive and he is loose in my bathroom and hasn’t chewed on anything that wasn’t his.
He melts my heart with those soulful brown eyes and he deserves someone to snuggle with him and love on him. He loves to be held and rocked like a baby and I can’t imagine how the first couple months of his life have been but he slept that first night like it was the first time on this earth he has had the chance to finally rest. Chappy does great with dogs of all ages and even younger children, He loves to give kisses and sit on your lap...for Chappy playtime is only with his big brothers and foster moms slippers. He has not been tested but with the proper introduction I am sure he will be able to be accepting and respectful of cats as well.
