About Wyatt *CL*

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Fawn
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

Wyatt was abandoned by his former owner and left outside at a relative's house with no shelter. He was left on a heavy, short tow chain, and his collar was very tight. A good samaritan contacted us for help, and Wyatt was quickly on his way to Kansas City. Wyatt was given no love or attention and had no medical treatment whatsoever. Wyatt was never neutered, given vaccinations or monthly heartworm preventative. Now at 6 years old, we hope to find a kind person or family to show him what it feels like to be loved.

Wyatt is currently in a wonderful foster home. Wyatt will continue to need a home where he can be cared for and shown the ropes. He seems so eager to please and we think Wyatt will be a quick-responder when it comes to "yes" and "no", and learning tricks. Since he hasn't had much attention during his life up to this point, he soaks up the attention he gets now! Wyatt was well behaved in the car during the long ride to Kansas City.  Check out his youtube video during the ride.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZlXFz-OYYA&feature=youtu.be
Wyatt is so happy just to be near you. His tail wags especially fast when a man gives him praise. He may never have been told "good boy" before, but he loves to hear it now. He is patient while we examine him and seems to understand that people are going to help him now. His one downfall, if you consider it to be one, is he doesn't like kitties very much. :)  Please consider fostering or adopting Wyatt, if you have a lot of love to give to a very deserving dog.
