Sylvie was originally rescued during a puppy mill auction in 2011.  Although she had lived as a mill dog, she is surprisingly social and loves attention.  She was adopted following her rescue from the mill, but sadly her owner recently passed away of cancer.  Sylvie finds herself a little older and once again looking for a forever home!  Sylvie is now approximately 12-13 years old and takes daily medication for congestive heart failure.  She is an absolute love and wants nothing more than attention from her humans.  She gets along with other dogs, but doesn't necessarily want to play.  Her ideal new family will be one that understand that she is now a senior and just needs a place to enjoy for her final years.  She will need to continue with her daily medication, but they're not overly expensive.  If you want to give this precious girl her final loving home, please complete the online adoption application today.

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
