Skittles is a two year old Maltese who is lively and playful despite spending most of his life in a puppy mill. He loves to play with other dogs and thinks cats are fascinating (but doesn't want to hurt them!). Skittles is learning how to be a regular dog and is catching on to potty training and house manners. He needs someone that is willing to work with him to become the best dog possible. Skittles thrives on love and attention and is looking for a family who will cuddle with him on the couch!

Adoption Fee: $200.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
