Look at that face!  Roxanne is a beautiful and sweet coonhound that was saved from a Kansas City high kill shelter.  She was days away from being euthanized.  She is currently at one of our kennels that we lease from a local vet clinic.  Roxanne is playful and loves to run and chase with a playmate.  Roxanne gets along with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats either.  She loves the attention that she gets from the caretakers at TARA but what she really wants is her own family.  She still needs to work on commands and how to heel and walk better on a leash.  She loves rides in cars.  We're not sure if she's treat motivated or not.  She doesn't seem to like peanut butter but she does love a good squeak toy! Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
