This handsome boy (his pictures do not do him justice!) was found running loose and try as we might, we could not find his family.  Someone must be missing this cutie though as he is so sweet! Hunter is good with other dogs, kids and cats and is completely house trained!  He is currently fostered with another dog and five children of various ages and does great with everyone.  He has excellent house manners and can be left alone uncrated. Hunter is very athletic though so a home that is willing to leash walk him or supervise him in the yard is a must.  He is an incredibly loving, amazing dog and would make an excellent companion.  This mellow boy wants nothing more than to be your best friend!  Hunter is about 1-2 years old and weighs around 60-70 pounds.

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
