Raven, who appears to have some Labrador in her bloodline, will be 19 wks this weekend and weighs 23 lbs.  Though she is full of energy and quite playful, she is also very eager to please and thus learns very quickly. She is good about chewing only on her own toys as long as she has a few and she was potty trained to a doggy door within the first few days of trying.  She also does well without a doggy door if she is taken out regularly.  She is happy in most any situation. She will sleep in her kennel or in my bed.  She can sit and stay on command and can play for hours with other dogs.  She probably shouldn't live with cats but not because she is mean to them, she just wants to play and the cats typically don't.  She also learned quickly that she shouldn't play too close to my old grouchy dog and gives her plenty of respect.  She eats well and also likes treats.  She walks on her leash like an angel and rides in the car calmly in the back seat.

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
