Ari spent the first few years of his life at the end of a chain, isolated and alone.  Luckily for him he was rescued, then adopted by his loving foster home.  His new family was able to teach him to trust again and provide the stability he needed to be a happy dog!

Unfortunately, some of the other dogs in his new family did not appreciate his presence and began ganging up on him, which eventually led to an attack which almost cost Ari his life.

While his family's hearts are broken, they realize that it would be best and safest for Ari to find him a new home.

Ari is a very sweet boy who is a perfect gentleman in the house.  He is just a bit shy when first meeting new people, but now that he knows what it feels like to be loved, he can't help but seek you out for attention and loves!  His favorite thing is to be petted and to lay quietly at your feet.  He gets along great with other dogs, despite the attack he suffered.    

This boy would be a perfect addition to your family and has so much love to give!

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
