Piglet and his brother Pooh are purebred chihuahuas who were born at a high kill shelter after their mother, Pippa, was abandoned there days before delivering them.  These two are adorable and will be very small.  At 3 and a half months, they weigh only 3-4 pounds.  Piglet is the calmer one that would prefer to cuddle and will be a lap dog.

Adoption Fee: $200.00 

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
