Grady is a 3 year old, housebroken, 9 pound chihuahua. He is very social with people and not much of a barker. He gets along with the other dogs in his foster family as long as they realize he's the boss. He plays with other dogs if they are his size. He is very interested in cats - though he doesn't present a threat to the cat in his foster home - as he is half her size. He's tolerant of older children (over 6 years old) but would not be a good fit for a home with younger children. Grady is a dog in search of a lap to call his own. If you're looking for a lot of personality in a small package - he just might be the dog for you!
Approximate Birthdate: 06/01/2008
Adoption Fee: $150.00
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
