Tulip, a 1 year old Border Collie mix, was found as a stray with a badly broken leg. She was the sweetest little thing despite the pain she must have been in and she was so thankful to have been rescued!

Tulip went through surgery and spent almost a month at the vet clinic recovering.  She is now in a foster home and is doing great!  She is crate trained and mostly house trained.  Tulip is a real lover who adores belly rubs, long walks and playing fetch.  She's gets along great with other dogs and even tolerates cats.  Tulip would love an active family to call her very own. 

Adoption Fee: $150.00 

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
