DeeDee came from a puppy mill situation, but she was one of the lucky ones that came to us in good shape.  She is a very sweet little girl and is very much a lap dog.  She is a dapple colored miniature long hair dachshund who is about 3 years old.  She is currently fostered with other dogs and cats and does great with all of them!  Since she came from a mill environment, she is still working on potty training, however, her foster mom says she is almost there!  This little girl will be a great dog for some very lucky family!

Adoption Fee: $200.00 

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
