Spike was found running loose by a good samaritan.  She was able to locate the owners and they told her that they really didn't want him and allowed him to run loose frequently.  When she questioned them as to why he was so skinny, they told her that he didn't really like to eat.  Well, after spending some time in a loving foster home with plenty of access to food, he has gotten to a healthy weight and looks and feels so much better!  He loves to play and sometimes bounces like a kangaroo when he gets excited!  Although our vet estimates that he is 4-6 years old, he has plenty of young energy!  He is also very sweet and a total lap dog!  Spike is a purebred Pomeranian.

Adoption Fee: $200.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
