Soda's story is one of those that is like a rollercoaster.....one that started out as a sad one, then a happy one briefly,  and now, unfortunately back to a sad one, at least for a little while.  Soda came to us at TARA as just a puppy who had been abandoned with his other two siblings and momma in the country. He was a bit shy and undersocialized, but within 5-6 months, he found a good "momma" that saw behind his timidness, renamed him Declan and gave him a loving, quiet home for the past two years.  This past May, his momma was diagnosed with cancer and after a surgery procedure, found out that she wouldn't be able to  care for him or his three doggy sisters anymore.  She made the heartwrenching decision to have TARA rehome him into hopefully as loving a new home as hers was.  So now Soda/Declan is searching for just that right fit.  He is currently in one of our awesome foster homes and getting along great with his pack there, surprisingly even with the resident kitty! :) .  If you could open your heart and home to this sweet, laid back boy, please apply to adopt him soon.  We want him to get back to his "happily forever after" as soon as possible.

Adoption Fee: $150.00

 

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

 

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
