Thunder and his 7 siblings were saved from a farm at the age of 4 weeks old. They were born to a stray momma who wandered onto the farm while she was pregnant. These kids are going to be a larger lab size when they are fully grown.
Thunder is really one of the funniest puppies I've ever seen. He has a very spunky personality. He is very loving and enjoys laying on the couch snuggled up in our laps. He loves to play with his stuffed animal that is a gorilla. He prances around the house with it in his mouth like he is king of the castle. He gets along great with his canine foster sister, Stella. They enjoy running in the snow and playing tug of war. He walks well on a leash and has almost mastered the kennel. He very rarely has any accidents in his kennel. When he needs to go outside he goes to the back door and lets out a whimper to tell us he needs to go. We are working on basic commands like sit, down, stay. He is picking up on the sit command pretty well. Thunder would be a great addition to your family!

Adoption Fee: $150.00
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
