What a big handsome hunk! Unfortunately, this sweet boy hasn’t had the best of luck. He originally came to us when he was abandoned with his little sister Chalupa, their family moved and simply left them behind.  We thought his luck had changed when he was adopted in 2011, until we got the call that he had been abandoned at a shelter in Maryland.  Many people worked to get Chico back to safety in Kansas City and now he is looking for a new family once again. Chico is too sweet of a boy to have been abandoned so many times, he deserves a family that will cherish him and love him for the rest of his life! Chico has lived with other dogs but can be a bit selective about who he likes.  He loves people though!!  He is completely housetrained and very well mannered. Come meet this big lug today, you'll definitely fall in love!

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a  two week trial  .

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
