Elmer is a sweet boy who was found as a stray. We don’t know much about him but he seems pretty friendly & happy. He is a Llaso Apso and is approximately 5yrs old. His first foster mom said he followed her everywhere and stuck to her like glue so that’s how he got his name. He now has 2 dogs to play with in his second foster home and follows them everywhere. They’re teaching him all kinds of fun things. He’s slowly learning how to play with toys. Elmer’s favorite things to do with his new friends are to wrestle, play chase & follow the leader. He tried to follow the cat too, but the cat turned around and thumped him on the head so he quickly gave that up! Elmer also discovered he loves chicken jerky treats. He’ll even go quietly into his kennel if you give him a chicken jerky treat and will sleep in his kennel all night without making a peep. He seems to be housetrained as well and has not had one accident inside the house. We would say, he’s a low to medium energy dog. He loves to lay next to you much of the time, but also plays like a puppy with his new buddies. Elmer will make a wonderful pet for almost any family.
