Missy was saved from a high kill shelter.  She was so quiet at the shelter that we didn't even see her as we walked through the first time, but as we were getting ready to leave, she came quietly to the side of her cage and we were so glad she did because she is a sweet heart!  We knew that if we hadn't seen her, the chances of anyone else taking notice and saving her were slim.  Missy is good with most other dogs, but she is not great with cats.  We aren't sure if she would hurt a cat, but she definitely likes to play chase, which they do not appreciate.  She is great with all people, including children!  She would make a great family pet for someone that wants an outgoing, sweet and easy first time pet!

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
