Roxy was one in a litter of six born to a cat owned by a hoarder.  Roxy was running around in and out of the house.  When help was offered the owner turned her over to T.A.R.A. Now she is safe and is looking for her forever home. 

She was shy when she first came to us but has blossomed while at WP.  She has become very social with both cats and people.  Roxy loves to play; her favorites are wand toys, balls, and anything with catnip.  If she wants to play, she will even bring you her toy!  She is great at using her scratching post and one is a must for her forever home.  She enjoys playing with other cats and will seek them out for fun.  Roxy loves being on your lap and being held.  She is wonderful with children and is patient with being picked up and entertained.  She is very observant and loves to be where you are so she can watch over you.

She is currently in a foster home with another cat, dog and children.

  This cat can be seen in person at the Petsmart at the Ward Parkway Mall; however, to visit with her out of the cage, you may need to make an appointment with the contact person listed above.

 

Adoption Fee: $85 

 

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, FeLV/FIV Combo test, flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that most of our animals come from the local high kill shelter, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 2-7 pounds, Med 8-13 pounds, Large 14-19 pounds, Extra Large over 20 pounds.
