Are you looking for the perfect dog?  Allow us to introduce you to Luther!  He is one attractive boy, and a true gentleman.  Luther is a 2yr old spaniel/retriever mix that was left at the shelter as a owner surrender.  I don't think Luther understands why, and neither do we since he is house trained and a perfect indoor companion!  Luther is very friendly with other dogs and cats, but would be just as content being a only dog getting lots of people attention.  He loves to be rubbed on, and will gladly take a nap on your lap if you let him!  Luther is a very sweet boy who would blend right into your life.  He would also make a great first dog for someone since he is so well behaved.  We hope Luther will find a forever home so he never has to experience an animal shelter again.

Adoption Fee: $150.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
