Lori and her siblings were born in one of the city's sanitation trucks; their mom was one of the many homeless cats in our area.

Lori was been in a foster home after being rescued from outside and the foster home describes her as a ragdoll because she just melts when you pick her up to hold her. If you are looking for a cat that is soft, cuddly and likes to be with her people, this may be the cat for you.

You may see her in person at the Petco at 95th & Quivira; however, to visit with her out of the cage, you may need to make an appointment with one of our volunteers.

TARA's pets are eligible for a two week trial.

Adoption fee varies, usually from $85.00 to $110.00.

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, FeLV/FIV Combo test, flea prevention and deworming. 

This cat can be seen in person at the Petco at 95th and Quivira; however, to visit with them out of the cage, you may need to make an appointment with the contact person listed above.

Due to the fact that most of our animals come from the local high kill shelter, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 2-7 pounds, Med 8-13 pounds, Large 14-19 pounds, Extra Large over 20 pounds.
