Loki is a sweet boy looking for a family to call his own. He is good with other dogs and doesn't mind cats. Loki enjoys walks to the neighborhood park, meeting new humans and canines, car rides and adventures. Loki knows some basic commands like sit, come when called and working on stay. He is very close to being house trained so he'll need a consistent routine and diligent family. He sleeps quietly in his kennel. Loki is smart, eager to learn and loyal with the typical Australian Shepherd/Heeler (some call this a Texas Heeler) characteristics so an experienced family is preferred (or one that wants to learn) to help him live his happiest life.

Adoption Fee: $300

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
