Bennett was found and taken to the shelter where he was not reclaimed. Initially he would not put his right back leg on the ground, and an x-ray showed that his femur had been broken previously, but was healing and did not require surgery. In the six weeks since that x-ray, it has healed very well, and he only favors it slightly now. Bennett is a love bug. He’s never met a stranger, and he likes cats and kids and other dogs. In his first foster home since being in the shelter, he has shown to be completely house trained. He’s a smart boy and just wants to please. What Bennett wants and deserves is to snuggle on the couch with someone who will love him forever.

Adoption Fee: $200
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
