Lilo found her way to a kind family after being dumped in the country and no one came to claim her. Lilo is smart, goofy, LOVES toys and CRAVES human attention. She loves children and is learning to keep her paws on the floor instead of jumping up. She is also learning other basic puppy manners and commands like sit and stay with treats and praise.
Lilo is happiest hanging out with the humans playing, laying on the floor next to your feet or closer by your side or on your lap! She is also happy to entertain herself with toys and chasing her tail. She also gets the zoomies!
Lilo also loves other dogs and is learning some dogs, especially older, smaller dogs need space. She doesn’t believe them the first time and pushes to encourage them to play! She would do well with a more playful and possibly larger canine sibling to teach her to respect social clues the first time or one that wants to play as much as she does! A lab, after all, has the energy to go all day if you let them!
Lilo is a smart girl that picks up on routines quickly. She is kennel trained and doing well with house training. She whines to let the human know she needs to go outside to potty. She enjoys car rides and does well with a harness and seatbelt leash.
Lilo wants a loving, active and patient family that will continue to nurture her growth, need to play, interactions with others and her love for life!
