Poppy is a sweet girl that loves being around humans and gets along with other canines whether they want to play or chill out; she's good with or without other canines in the home. She is house-trained, settles quickly in a kennel but prefers to be out and about on her own. She's very good about going outside to do her business and loves hearing her human cheer her on and runs back quickly when she done. Poppy is an easy walker, rides quietly in the car, and loves being a home body. She will alert you to shenanigans going on outside and quickly redirect her attention to you and any assistance you need with laundry, cooking, reading, napping; she's there for it all!

Adoption Fee: $300

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
