Hi, My name is Biscuit and I am about 18 months old. I grew up with a loving human who had to surrender me to the local pound in St. Joseph Missouri.  I was terrified, broken hearted, and much in need of grooming. And then, T.A.R.A. rescued me!  When I was groomed and lost 7 pounds of hair, people saw that I was a  bright eyed toy Bichon Frise. When I met my foster mom and foster brother Cai, a corgi, I was so happy. I am a very happy and friendly fellow.  Like all Bichons, I am a people pleaser and live to love my humans. I snuggle, I cuddle, and you will always have a buddy with me. I Love going in the car, romping at the dog park, and playing tug with my much bigger foster brother. My favorite things are always anything you do.  And oh, I love bananas and apples! I can live in a house or an apartment because I have good manners and am housebroken. What I want is a human friend, like you, and a forever home.

Approximate Birthdate:  Mar 2023

Adoption Fee: $300

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
