Hey you!  Nice to meet you.  My name is Penny Lane, but you can call me Penny, for short.  I really don’t have much history to share as I was found shivering and wet, wandering a rural road of Missouri.  What I can tell you is that I put a lot of trust in humans right away.  I see the good in them and will follow you around the house right from the start, just to be in the same room as you!  I am smart and learn quickly.  I love my doggy door at my foster house, and I love, love playing with the other dogs there.  And at night, when I am worn out from playing with them or the humans, I will snuggle with you in bed and lay right up against you, but only if you want.  I am good natured, very happy, and trustworthy as I’m allowed to roam the house when my foster parents are away. And oh yeah, they think I am about 2 years old, but age is just number anyway, right?  Please, consider adopting me.  I want to please and share my happiness with you!

Approximate Birthdate:  July 2022

Adoption Fee: $200

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.

For more information please fill out an application.
