Meet Stormy Dee! This 58–lb nugget has a heart of gold and all the good looks too! Stormy was in a family home with other dogs, cats and kids, but unfortunately her owner fell on hard times and had no choice but to seek out help for their furry family members.

Stormy is around 4 years old, is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations and is looking for her forever home. She was understandably confused about losing her family but has turned the other cheek and is looking at the bright side. Its all smiles and tail wags now for this girl!

Stormy is so well-behaved and loves to sleep next to her human or little human sibling. She is amazing with the resident cats in her foster home and so friendly to the resident dog too. Stormy recently went to a doggie play day at a boarding facility and the feedback was incredible: “Pawsitively loved group play” and “Stormy absolutely LOVES being in group play and is so good with the other dogs! She is so sweet and enjoys laying in the cold pools and playing with her friends!”

Stormy is also a great napper and when its time to get out of bed, she slowly slides her body off the bed like a true land seal. She enjoys Nylabones and frozen Kongs stuffed with peanut butter. And she’ll find her bone if you ask her to! Contact us to meet this special girl!

Adoption Fee: $200

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
