Jesse is a sweet, playful, full-of-fun puppy who loves to run in the yard, follow the human around, chew on an antler, go on walks, explore and cuddle on the couch. He is very social, loves dogs and people. He is curious about the cats and squirrels he encounters on walks but does not pull to chase, just watches and is easily motivated to move on. He is catching on to all the basics of sit, come, down, leave it, paws on floor, up, off and outside. Jesse is a people pleaser and treat motivated so he is catching on quickly to human expectations. He crates easily with a treat or treats in toys. As a puppy, he needs regular potty breaks and has done very well keeping his kennel dry and letting the human know it's time to go outside by sitting at the door. Jesse would enjoy a playful canine sibling or regular dog playdates with friends for continued socialization. He is very respectful of the older foster canines yet sad they don't want to play. Jesse is loving and loyal and will thrive in an active family that wants to include him on adventures.

Adoption Fee: $200

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
