Beautiful calico girl Opal was found beneath some bushes, very thin and crying out for help. She immediately ate two large cans of kitty food, hopped up in her new friend’s lap for cuddles, and fell asleep purring. After a vet visit and few weeks in foster care she’s doing so well, gaining weight, and showing us her playful, inquisitive nature. Opal absolutely loves people! She wants nothing more than to sleep next to you while you work, jump and chase after her feather toys, and snuggle up in bed to watch TV. Her chirps and purrs will melt your heart! This loving little 18-month-old kitty would be happy to be your only pet friend, or to have a gentle cat friend who will enjoys a little play time. Right now, she is still a little nervous of more dominant or aggressive cats. This outgoing, affectionate little girl is ready to be someone’s best friend for life!

Adoption Fee: $ 75.00

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption.

Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed.

Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat.
