Javier is approximately three years old. He was found as a stray in Oklahoma. He is a curious and lovable little guy with a lot of energy. He is timid at first because he is a little scared of the unknown. Within one or two weeks, he will never want to leave your side. He is great with kids, dogs, and cats. The keys to his heart are food, treats, and belly rubs. He does not like to be by himself for very long periods of time, but can handle an active family. He does not mind sleeping in a kennel at night, but does not want to be in one all day. Javier is so lovable and we will miss is pitty patty feet.

Adoption Fee: $300
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
