Ruby is a sweet and gentle three-year-old girl who is looking for her new forever family.  Her first owner passed away and she ended up spending the last several months in a rural animal shelter.  But Ruby has found her way to a foster home living with 3 cats.  Ruby is so easy to love, is extremely laid back, likes to take short walks, and has a nice, gentle pace while on a leash.  A medium sized dog, she is just a big cuddle bug, and loves head scratches, and loves to give hugs.  She is nervous with new people though and would do best in a quiet home without a lot of activity.  She is great with cats and gets along with most dogs as long as they give her space. She is house-trained, and sleeps through the night.

Adoption Fee:  $200

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
