Hi, my name is Orla and I'm a one year old Beagle mix who weighs around 20 lbs.  Orla means golden princess, and once you see my eyes, soft shiny coat, and how sweet I am, you'll agree that I definitely am one!  I am a little shy around new things and people, but I warm up quickly and have learned that I love to curl up next to you on the couch and hang out.  I'm a laid-back girl who enjoys getting pets, treats, and snuggle time.  I'm learning to be a good girl when it comes to housetraining (I'm picking it up quickly), and I'm trying so hard to learn that socks are supposed to stay in laundry baskets.  I'm very gentle with my foster humans, and foster siblings including senior dogs and cute kitties, and would be great with a family who is looking for a sweet, gentle dog to include in their life.  I might be a little afraid of tiny humans, so a house with older kids would probably be best!

Approximate Birthdate:   June 2022

Adoption Fee: $200

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.

For more information please fill out an application.
