Ellie is the sweetest and most loving cattle dog mix you'll ever meet. She's about 3 years old. She is house trained and kennel trained, and she loves fluffy dog beds. She is playful and likes to chase squirrels out of the yard. She is not destructive and is friendly with other dogs and cats. She is fearful and stressed when around small children, though she's never been aggressive. She will be shy with new people at first, and might take a few days to warm up, but once she's out of her shell, she will dedicate her whole heart to her person.

Adoption Fee: $175

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
