Evan will be available for adoption in about six weeks after he is altered. Evan is a happy, bold, sweet, smart and observant pup. He holds his own when playing with older dogs and understands their boundaries. He loves stuffed toys that are bigger than him, chew toys, treats and cuddles. He has learned to sit for treats from watching the resident canines.  He is kennel trained and on his way to being house trained with frequent outside breaks. Evan is learning to alert the human when he needs to go outside - too squirmy in her arms or whines and runs to the door. He sleeps in a comfy pillowed kennel and keeps it dry through the night (between 7 - 8 hours). We know very little about Evan's start in life but we do know he is going to be a great addition to a loving, active and fun family. A canine sibling is not required but it would be a bonus to help him as he figures out this big world.

Adoption Fee: $200

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
